Organizations are struggling with Innovation and people challenges because of the leaders lack of awareness on human science.
China, India and South Korea drive global growth in patent applications. 68% of international patent filing came from Asia in 2021-22 - the global South (Source: World Economic Forum).
Indian cities Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai topped the Patent Filings in 2021-22.
Why are organisations struggling with Innovation and creativity in spite of their state-of-the-art infrastructure and brilliant minds?
The answer lies somewhere else:
The dance of billions of brain cells trying to communicate with one another may hold a crucial clue to the understanding of how an idea starts germinating towards innovation. And in my venture Peopleverse we strongly think we are nearing answering this challenge using latest neuroscience. My work has been working with organization leaders educating them about how we are harnessing research to solve major challenges of businesses. We show the live brain FMRI scan and diffusion tensor imaging of brain. For them to become aware of how powerful are our programs.
What we have discovered as clues from the field of neuroscience research is when an employee is working on a unchartered product or market situation, the CA1 CA3 regions and transmitters in the brain, takes a detour from the normal and not only uses extra processing power but also demands input from unanticipated neural connections. So don't blame your team if they aren't able to do a quick turnaround to a customer situation. What they are going through is natural.
To overcome the innovator's pause and pivot Organization innovation, we have designed a unique program on Innovation and Creativity under our Discovery Program series named "The Innovation Potential". Click to read about the program.
The program aims to make your working teams and employees change from choking to excelling under Pressure in a complex and unclear landscape. Creating a trajectory to access the constant creative self and innovate naturally across borders, at the same time enjoying working with others.
